Art Keepsake Album
  • Three ring binder
  • Batting
  • Material to cover binder (leave 2 inches all around)
  • glue or hot glue
  • cardboard
  • clear acid free page protectors
  • Open the binder and glue the batting to the outside cover and spine. Lay material over the batting leaving about 2 inches all the way around. Turn the binder over and fold the material over and glue to the inside covers, folding the corners as you would a sheet on a bed. Glue the cardboard to the inside covers of the binder to hide the jagged edges of the material. Let this dry well before inserting the page protectors. As the child replaces his "refrigerator art" with new pieces, let him keep his masterpieces in his album. This project will need adult supervision, especially if using the hot glue.
