Apple Hot Pad
  • corrugated cardboard
  • rubber bands
  • red paint
  • poster board
  • glue
  • Cut several long strips of corrugated cardboard about 1 in wide. Put glue on one side of the strip and start winding it into a tight flat coil. Keep adding strips and winding around the coil until the apple is the size you want it. Put the rubber bands around the apple to hold it in place until it dries. Then paint it red, after it is dry, you can add green leaves and a stem cut from the poster board, just glue these to the underside of the apple hot pad. This makes a nice gift for Fall!
