  • Running Out of things to do with toddlers and twos? As an Early Childhood teacher, I was tired of the foot and hand paint pictures. I took what was available off the manipulative shelf (plastic blocks, wooden blocks and plastic shape blocks).

I put these plastic shapes on the table with fingerpaint of many colors on paperplates. I preceeded to dip a block in paint and pressed it on paper. The children caught on quickly and was able to do this for themseves! The plastic and wooden blocks washed out very easily and what was best of all, was the children had fun doing the activity themselves!
